Netflix announces the premiere date for Manisha Koirala’s forthcoming movie Maska. Along with Manisha, Priti Kamani and Shirley Setia can be seen in the upcoming digital movie. The film has been written and directed by Neeraj Udhwani which will embark on his debutant. It will be available to stream from 27th March 2020.
Manisha was recently seen against Sanjay Dutt in Prassthanam and was widely appreciated for her role. She captioned her twitter handle with “Would you choose a legacy over your own ambitions? Maska Premiers 27th March 2020, only on Netflix.
Maska Series celebrates a popular Parsi culture. It is set around a young actor who has a dream to become a successful actor. His eyes are filled with big dreams, and he sleeps and wakes up with them. Towards his journey of realizing his dreams, he finds many truths. The ambitions he upholds set him up with many realities that he has to face. However, the determined actor decides to turn his back on the famous Irani café that has been run by his family for generations. He upholds them until he finds himself in between a summer romance. Where a clear-headed girl would help him to understand the difference between dreams and delusions.
To rescue him comes the character of Manisha Koirala. The character she is going to play will connect all the missing dots in the actor’s life. She will be playing the role of a single mother who wants her son to follow the footsteps of his father.
Apart from the stars mentioned above, Javed Jaffery will also be seen playing important characters. We have already seen Nikita Dutta in various movies, she has already played a significant role in Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani starrer blockbuster film Kabir Singh.
Through this film music sensation, Shirley Setia will be making her first debut as an actor in her upcoming project Maska. The cheerful singer will be essaying the role of a smart, quirky and funny girl. However, she is much similar in her real life, therefore, essaying the same character may not be an issue for her.
Right after the premiere of Maska, the bubbly actress will make her debut in Bollywood with Nikamma starring Abhimanyu Dassani and Shilpa Shetty Kundra and directed by Sabbir Khan. The whole theme of the movie is based on preserving the culture and values that are carried on from generations.
